As new generation and load technologiesemerge power system behaviour is becoming less predictable and new challenges are arising with the shift from traditional machines to flexible power electronics. Planners must ensure new projects meet technical standards and perform reliably even in parts of the network not originally designed for significant generation. About the team you will lead You will lead ahigh-performing group of 1015 engineerswho are deep specialists in system modelling simulation techniques electromagnetic transientanalysisand power system performance. This team is at the forefront of the industry working on projects including: Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) with multiple new connections occurring simultaneously Grid-forming battery installations that are setting global benchmarks Novel assessment methods for offshore wind advanced datacentres and large-scale storage Complex modelling investigations and cutting-edge wide-area EMT studies Technical standards and compliance shaping how new technology connects to the grid This team has direct impact across the sector supporting developers OEMs NSPs regulators and market bodies.
