Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated teacher aide. About our School Aspect Treetop School providesplacement for approximately 80 students on the autism spectrum, from ages 4 to 16 years, providing small class sizes and additional staff support. Aspect Distance Education Program Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), Australia’s leading national autism provider with one of the largest autism-specific school programs in the world, is running Australia’s first autism-specific Distance Education program. The program allows students on the autism spectrum to learn from home by connecting them to teachers via a range of digital learning tools. Students will also participate in several outings and excursions each year. Please note that Aspect Distance Education is only available for students in Years 3-12, residing in New South Wales or in Years 3-6 and residing in South Australia (from Term 2, 2026) Qualifications What we are looking for Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB) registration to teach in SA Special Education qualifications preferred, but all applications will be considered Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, or with other intellectual disability (desirable) South Australian Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment You may be required to provide an international police clearance.
