Job Description Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian tax regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimise financial outcomes. Manage tax audits and liaise with external tax authorities as required. Provide expert advice on GST, PAYG, and other indirect tax matters. Support the finance team with tax reporting and forecasting processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian tax legislation and regulatory changes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of tax considerations into business decisions. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the tax department. The Successful Applicant A successful Tax Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0 - 5 years tax accounting experience. Professional accreditation such as CA or CPA (or working towards it). A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
