Currently, accelerated courses are offered in Aboriginal Studies, Investigating Science and Japanese Beginners. Unique features of Pittwater High School include the school's instrumental program, including the renowned symphonic orchestra; Cabrananga which is a support unit catering for 21 students with diverse needs; and an Agriculture program catering for roughly 180 students from Year 8 through to the HSC. Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach Food Technology and Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8). Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the faculty to develop, implement, deliver and evaluate effective teaching programs and resources to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to contribute to faculty and whole‑school programmes and build positive relationships across the Pittwater High School community.
