Their offices are located in the heart of stunning West Perth, with a short stroll to Kings Park and some great cafés and restaurants close by. The team in West Perth are friendly, fun, and supportive and their staff turnover is low, with several members of staff being there since the beginning. THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bookkeeper to join the firm on a full-time basis. Working with one of their largest clients specialising in security. Responsibilities Bookkeeping for multiple clients Payroll management including potential indirect taxes (eg payroll tax) reporting Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations Assist in preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) Assist in processing of year-end adjustments Assisting the Accountants as and when required THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping Ideally experience working in an Australian public practice firm or bookkeeping firm. Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships High level of written and verbal communication essential Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism BENEFITS A generous remuneration package depending on experience ($85,000 - $100,000 + super) Flexible working hours – flexible on start and finish times, work from home 1-2 days a week Amazing culture – low staff turnover, positive and supportive environment Modern, vibrant, and open plan offices Sociable culture, regular Friday drinks, boat trips to Rottnest, lunches etc. They have a transparent approach to promotions, and they are based on your productivity and performance, not how long you have been doing the job for.
