We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Data Migration) to join a growing transformation programme focused on modernising data platforms and improving data quality across the organisation. This role will play a key part in planning, analysing, and delivering complex data migration initiatives while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities for large-scale data migration and data platform initiatives. Elicit, analyse, and document business and data requirements, including source-to-target mappings and data transformation rules. Work closely with data engineers, architects, and platform teams to support migration planning and execution. Support data profiling, data quality assessment, and reconciliation activities. Translate complex data concepts into clear, understandable documentation for non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to define current-state and future-state data processes. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs. Support testing phases including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure data governance, security, and identity requirements are understood and incorporated into solutions. Skills & Experience 5+ years’ experience working in dedicated Business Analyst roles. Proven experience delivering data migration and data platform projects. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and identity/access management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and data lifecycle concepts. Excellent documentation skills (business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings). Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels. Experience working within Financial Services or Insurance environments would be beneficial. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability. What's on offer? $150,000 (including super). Initial 12-month FTC. Hybrid work environment (203 days p/w in office).
