About the Role As a Houseperson at Rydges Sydney Airport, you’ll be responsible for keeping the back-of-house areas spotless, organised, and guest-ready. From refreshing public spaces to supporting the housekeeping team with supplies, your attention to detail and pride in presentation will help create a seamless experience for every guest. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a houseperson or in housekeeping within a hotel, ideally in high-volume settings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Familiarity with hotel houseperson & housekeeping procedures and operational policies. Understanding of workplace health and safety (WH&S) practices and hazard reporting. Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within allocated timeframes. Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to guest interactions. Key Accountabilities Maintain clean, organised back-of-house and public areas to hotel standards. Ensure linen and supplies are stocked across all service and storage areas. Collect and transfer linen, rubbish, and guest laundry to designated areas. Inspect and store rollaway beds, cots, and equipment in a tidy, usable condition. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and unusual situations promptly. Follow housekeeping procedures and WH&S guidelines consistently. Present professionally and always greet guests courteously.
