Villa Terenzio is part of Italian Aged Care Incorporated, a Charitable Not for Profit Organisation. We provide Residential Aged Care Services for 192 residents at Villa Terenzio in Marangaroo in the Northern Suburbs of Perth. Villa Terenzio has proudly served the community for over 50 years. About the role The successful applicant will be employed to work as part of an established team in the main Kitchen as a Cook. You will need the ability to work autonomously and as part of a supportive, professional team reporting directly to the Head Chef. This role is predominantly a Permanent part time AM and PM shifts. Responsibilities Prepare and cook seasonal & culturally appropriate food as directed, meeting dietary requirements. Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations. Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities. Skills and experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent or higher qualifications. Experience working in a commercial cooking environment such as an Aged Care Facility or Hospital is highly regarded. Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
