About The Role Under the L3Harris Communications Australia Global Field Services Team, the COMSEC Account Manager (CAM) will be engaged as a Senior Specialist Field Engineer and will work within the existing Mature Support Contract (MSC) to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA). The MSC team will utilize High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE) as part of their duties to support the following CoA contract requirements: training design, delivery and evaluation maintenance support software upgrade services engineering support services equipment installation services equipment operation and support services planning and advice support The COMSEC Account Manager will support the Field Services team in the management of Commonwealth HACE and the Commonwealth Cryptographic material. In addition, the COMSEC Account Manager will support L3Harris Field Service activities for technical advice, planning and maintenance as required. Located in Brisbane, Australia, with some domestic travel to support the contract needs. What The Role Will Involve Conduct the duties of a COMSEC Account Manager on the Australian Signals Directorate industry COMSEC account. Manage Commonwealth HACE, Commonwealth Key Material and L3Harris HACE. Conduct the management of Cryptographic Material on local encryption devices. Provide advice and planning to L3Harris Communications Australia on COMSEC management. Provide technical support of RF Communications tactical radio equipment in the HF, VHF, UHF and SHF RF spectrum. Conduct installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of L3Harris equipment or software. Provide technical support to the L3Harris Help Desk in support of the Mature Support Contract. What You’ll Bring Defence COMSEC Custodian Course. Held primary Custodian position in an Australian Defence Forces Account. Military Communications experience essential. Field engineering experience with tactical radio equipment including training, operation, fault finding and basic maintenance of military communications equipment. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Proven written and oral communication skills to provide reports and briefings. Position Requirements Essential: COMSEC Custodian Experience. Essential: Current Commonwealth of Australia security clearance, minimum Negative Vetting (NV1). Essential: Ability to be granted access to Commonwealth of Australia Defence facilities.
