Area Manager

We are looking for a confident and proactive Area Manager to work closely with our Centre Directors across five locations to coach, direct and assist Directors in achieving optimal business results and outcomes for all children. Our centres are located in the Sutherland Shire (Engadine and Menai), Bossley Park and the Southern Highlands (Hill Top and Renwick). We’re looking for a strong leader who can make informed decisions independently and drive continuous improvement across all areas. They will be an enthusiastic, motivated and highly-organised individual with a thorough knowledge of the Early Childcare sector. This role requires regular centre visits and communication with Directors, as well as reflection, analysis, planning and delivering of strategies to ensure our Centres are running efficiently and successfully. Your duties in this role will include, but not be limited to: Lead, guide and coach Centre Directors to assist and motivate them in reaching objectives> Ensure legislative requirements are being followed in accordance with the NQF Conduct regular Centre visits with clear agenda and desired outcomes Monitor and drive performance in areas such as occupancy, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality ratings Reporting to upper management on centre performance and outcome of visits Creating and conducting professional development training to staff of the organisation Consistently assess, analyse and implement strategies in each centre/s performance to identify, drive and facilitate continuous improvement Temporary assignment as a centre director in rare cases where transition periods between employees may arise OR covering shifts in emergency situations Complete administrative tasks as requested by upper management Participate in meetings and training courses where appropriate Lead regular Director and Educational Leader meetings Resolve escalated complaints from families within approved time frames Supports the Centre Directors to resolve outstanding matters Work in collaboration with Centre Directors to meet or exceed NQF Standards Position requirements: Strong communication and leadership skills Knowledge on the Early Years Framework and the National Quality Framework Excellent time management skills and a high level of attention to detail Demonstrated P&L, financial and transaction accountability Approved working with children checks as per NSW regulations and compliance Permanent, full-time position, Monday-Friday, 38 house per week, managing 5 centres A supportive management team Autonomy to lead and implement change A company mobile phone and laptop for work related purposes Fortnightly Car Allowance Your application will include the following questions: Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of the early years learning framework?
