Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach infants and/or primary, demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to lead and support staff. Proven collaborative leadership in driving evidence‑based professional learning that enhances teachers’ capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively as a proactive member of the executive team to implement strategic priorities. Experience in managing a Learning Support Team and addressing complex wellbeing and behaviour issues. General Selection Criteria Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching programmes. Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills with capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal education policy. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process simultaneously with this application. Funding and Continuation This is an Above Centrally Identified permanent teacher position established through school funds. The successful candidate’s continued appointment is subject to the continuity of this funding, the ongoing requirement for the role and the educational needs of the school. If funding or the role ceases, the teacher will receive nominated transfer status.
