Factory Assembler – Security Doors & Flyscreens (Full-Time) Franks Security Doors and Flyscreens – Craigieburn VIC You’ll cut and assemble aluminium security doors and flyscreens to job specs using machines and power tools. Work includes cutting, riveting, punching, fitting mesh and hardware, and quality checks. Training is provided on our standards and workflows. Work includes cutting, riveting, punching, fitting mesh and hardware, and quality checks. Training is provided on our standards and workflows. Key responsibilities Cut, rivet, punch and assemble aluminium door/screen frames to cutting lists Fit restricted-vision mesh / aluminium or stainless mesh, bug strips, closers and seals Install locks and hardware (e.g. Lockwood 8653/8654) Read work orders, pick parts, and complete quality checks before dispatch Keep bench/area tidy, follow OH&S and safe tool practices Assist with loading/unloading, basic stock counts and general factory tasks What you’ll bring Confident with hand and power tools (drills, riveters, grinders, punch press, mitre saw) Measuring accuracy and attention to detail; takes pride in a tidy finish Able to follow work orders/cutting lists and meet daily targets Reliable, punctual, and a team player Nice to have (not essential): experience in security door/flyscreen assembly, Lockwood hardware and meshing doors with tuff mesh and pet mesh What we offer Full-time, Monday–Friday (day shift) + overtime available $28–$36/hr + super + OT, commensurate with experience On-the-job training, clear workmanship standards and stable pipeline of work Friendly, supportive team with growth opportunities (Senior Assembler / Team Lead) How to apply Click Apply with your resume (or brief work history).
