Our Company is one of Melbourne’s best known manufacturers and retailers of custom security doors and window screens, based in Oakleigh. We are looking for a reliable Installer to fill a full time permanent role measuring & installing flyscreens and security doors in clients homes across Melbourne. The role involves meeting at the Oakleigh premises each morning, loading the days work of screens and doors, collecting the day run sheet and completing the measuring and installations in a professional, accurate and timely manner. The key responsibilities of this role include: On site measures of windows and door frames for screens and security doors Accurately completing the measure sheets on site that are to be used for factory production Installing the screens and security style doors in clients homes and building sites Ensuring all installations are completed to specification in a safe manner Working to a daily run sheet of appointments Ability to quote on site would be a great benefit but not essential To be successful in the role, you will: Have a proven history of performing Installations Be very competent with hand tools and problem solving Able to use ladders Have strong communication skills Attention to detail and pride in your work Be very organised and have great time management skills Be able to work with customers in a professional and mature manner Possess an upbeat personality, mindset, and attitude Demonstrate a willingness to learn our processes Take pride in your appearance The Company will provide: Fully maintained Company Van Tools suitable for the role Uniform Shirts and tops Great working conditions Installation and measuring experience of window screens, doors or blinds is required, however if you can demonstrate a very similar background in a related Industry, we may consider training the right person into the role.
