About the Role AFSL Compliance is a key business unit within the Count Group that provides expert consulting services to Australian Financial Services Licensees (AFSLs). We offer solutions in three primary service areas: AFSL Applications, Ongoing AFSL Governance Arrangements, and Regulatory Updates & Compliance Consulting. We are seeking a highly skilled AFSL Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in applying for and managing their AFS Licenses by leveraging your expertise and the resources available within the broader Count Group. This is a dynamic role that requires a flexible and agile approach, a keen understanding of regulatory environments, and the ability to manage client relationships with professionalism. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the full process of new AFSL applications for clients. Develop and implement AFSL Governance Programs tailored to client needs. Provide expert consulting services to AFS Licensees, responding to regulatory inquiries and compliance‑related matters. Conduct annual Licensee Reviews and implement necessary governance updates. Create and distribute timely regulatory updates, communications, and training resources. Maintain and manage Salesforce CRM, including ensuring the accuracy and currency of document templates. Key Skills & Experience Extensive knowledge and experience in compliance and regulatory frameworks within the Australian financial services industry. Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM. Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A minimum of 5 years' experience in account management is highly desirable. An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Financial Services is highly desirable. Experience providing financial planning advice is an advantage. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
