Drafter / Draughts Person Cadigal Group is an Australia-based engineering consultancy firm that specialises in providing structural, civil, and façade engineering solutions for the local market. The company designs and delivers projects including tall buildings, hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities. With its head office located in Sydney, Australia, this employment opportunity requires candidates to work remotely. Responsibilities Prepare Revit and CAD drawings for various building projects that include high-rise buildings. Identify and communicate potential design issues to the project team for timely resolution. Revise technical drawings and drafts based on feedback from Engineers and Architects. Prepare engineering drawings from the model, including fundamental arrangements, layouts, detailed views, sections, and other necessary components. Support the Project Delivery Team with-to-day 2D and 3D drafting and modeling tasks within the Structural discipline. Develop and maintain Cadigal Group engineering standards and prepare additional documentation as required. Ensure proper coordination of model interfaces with designers and engineers from other disciplines to achieve seamless integration. Qualifications / Requirements Must possess excellent oral and written English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Australian engineers and clients. A diploma or associate’s degree in drafting from a recognized technical college or institute. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM is essential, along with strong multitasking abilities. Minimum of five years of proven experience as a Drafter in the engineering department. Strong familiarity with steel and concrete structure modeling, including expertise in Revit Structure, Architecture, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD. Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates seeking a long‑term position with our company.
