We’re seeking a Staff Front End Engineer to join our Continuous Feedback team. You will be instrumental in evolving how employees give and receive real‑time feedback through intelligent, AI‑supported experiences, directly influencing product direction and technical quality. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll contribute to our front end engineering practice within the Camp, with opportunities for impact beyond your immediate team. Continuous Feedback is a core component of our Perform product, designed to deliver fair and actionable feedback to help develop individuals and teams. Our mission for this team is clear: make feedback accessible, seamless, and valuable for all users—helping organisations build cultures where everyone can thrive. You will Lead the technical vision, architecture, and implementation of large‑scale AI‑supported front end solutions in React and Typescript, directly supporting critical product experiences in Continuous Feedback. This includes designing intuitive UIs for intelligent feedback analysis, surfacing relevant insights, and guiding user interactions. Champion the adoption of engineering best practices—accessibility, quality, performance, and maintainability—drawing on Culture Amp’s unified Next.js‑based front end stack and the Kaizen Design System. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn customer problems into product outcomes. You’ll help slice, and deliver features that make a real impact for managers and employees using feedback daily. Act as a multiplier: mentor, coach, and up‑skill fellow engineers. Contribute to the growth of our front end practice through collaborating on initiatives, design reviews, and RFCs. Lead efforts in both the ambiguous and the urgent: tackle complex technical challenges and navigate the fast‑changing needs of our product landscape, helping to build clarity for others as you go. Influence and uphold the Continuous Feedback team’s engineering standards—owning system quality and supporting the ongoing evolution of how feedback is delivered, requested, and managed in our platform. You Have Hands‑on experience building and maintaining large‑scale SaaS front ends using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies. Familiarity with Next.js, Storybook, and design systems is a bonus. Knowledge of web application architecture, performance optimisation, accessibility, and user‑centric design. You’re comfortable “owning” the quality and standard of solutions delivered. Experience contributing to shaping internal engineering practices or frameworks, led significant technical initiatives, and coached peers or juniors to higher quality and autonomy. A strong sense of ownership—proactively identify roadblocks, technical debt, and “next right things” for your team and the broader front end community at Culture Amp. Experience collaborating successfully with cross‑functional teams (product, design, research, backend), balancing fast delivery with scalable and maintainable solutions. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity and structure to new and evolving product spaces. A deep concern for customer and user experience and a desire to transform how feedback is given and received at work. We believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our success. We're committed to fostering a work environment that truly cares for and develops its people, and creates lasting positive impact. In addition to providing a competitive compensation package, some of the key benefits we offer are: Employee Share Options Program: We empower you to be an owner in Culture Amp and share in our success. Programs, coaching, and budgets to help you thrive personally and professionally. Access to external providers for mental wellbeing and coaching support to sustain the wellbeing, safety and development of our people. Monthly Camper Life Allowance: An automatic allowance paid out each month with your pay – you can spend it however you like to help improve your experience and life outside work. Team budgets dedicated to team building activities and connection. Intentional quarterly wellbeing pauses: A quarterly company‑wide shutdown day in each region to collectively pause, reset and focus on restoration and rest, without having to tap into individual vacation time. Extended year‑end breaks: An extended refresh period at the end of year. Excellent parental leave and in‑work support program available from day 1 of joining Culture Amp. 5 Social Impact Days a year to make a positive impact on the community outside of work. MacBooks for you to do your best – and a work‑from‑home office budget to spend on setting up your home office. Medical insurance coverage for you and your family (available for US & UK only). Additionally, we don't just focus on our internal community; we believe in creating a better world of work for all. We have a strong commitment to Anti‑Racism, and endeavor to lead by example. Every step we make as a business towards anti‑racism is another step we can take to support our customers in making a better world (of work). You can see our current commitments to Anti‑Racism here.
