Welcome to the Housekeeping - McQuoin Park role at Catholic Healthcare . This position is located in McQuoin Park, Waitara. Location: McQuoin Park, Waitara Type: Permanent Part‑time/Casual across Catering, Laundry & Cleaning Pay: $31.70 per hour + superannuation + casual loading Employer: Not‑for‑profit About The Role As a member of the Cleaning team at Waitara, you will provide high‑quality cleaning services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents’ rooms and common areas are clean and presentable. Responsibilities Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in residents’ rooms. Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit. Work safely, protecting yourself, colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high‑quality care to the elderly. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous experience working as a cleaner, ideally in aged‑care. Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people. Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families. A reliable team player. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
