Overview Australian Citizens With NV2 Clearance residing in Australia only respond Contract start 07 March 2023 To 6 months, 6 months extensions. ACD Branch was established under REDSPICE to develop a scalable and integrated Active Cyber Defence capability, enabling ASD to operationalise threat intelligence at speed to proactively defend critical Australian systems. ACD Branch requires the services of two (2) suitably qualified SFIA Level 5 Business Architects (BA) (with a minimum of one NV2 cleared BA). The BAs will be responsible to plan, manage and lead an ACD Gaps and Opportunities Review on behalf of ACD Branch and document their findings to deliver a single ACD Gaps and Opportunities Final Report that covers: Identification of Industry capabilities that deliver ACD benefits (in accordance with ACD Branch requirements). Highlight partnership/investment opportunities with Australian companies. Highlight partnership/investment opportunities with non-Australian companies. Recommend opportunities to implement these into ASD or to integrate these with other (existing) ASD capabilities. Recommend a forward work program outlining the sequence to address the recommended opportunities (as per above dot points) and based on priority (i.e. high impact solutions). The BAs will be accountable under general direction to work with a wide range of stakeholders, have effective communication skills and document outcomes as they progress their review. The successful candidates will be required to work cohesively and communicate effectively across ACD Branch to ensure the requirements across the different sections, and the broader ASD community, are accurately captured and considered throughout the process. Indicative duties include, but are not limited to: The preparation, presentation and delivery of a single ACD Gaps and Opportunities Final Report. The preparation of progress updates, presentations, talking points, meeting administration, record keeping etc. may be required (as they relate to the above dot points); Liaising with broader ASD Project Boards to ensure ACD Branch requirements are appropriately captured and addressed in system concept and development stages; and, Engaging with existing ASD capability management teams to ensure alignment and de-confliction. Every application requires to address selection criteria as part of application submission Selection Criteria Ability to define, document and carry out projects or reviews, including being able to understand and discuss technical capability and technology solutions. Ability to perform gap analysis, detailing the current state and determining capability needs to reach the future/intended state. Ability to work with stakeholders to capture needs across the technical, process and resource domains. Ability to prepare reports including the presentation of findings and proposed solutions. High-level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite products including: Word (styles, formatting, templates); Excel (referential formulae, financial planning and actuals records); PowerPoint (professional slide decks for Executive briefings; master layout changes); Project (schedule maintenance and analysis). Qualifications in the Business Architecture specialist domain (e.g. TOGAF, CBA, etc.). Demonstrated experience in supporting a technical project and/or review. Familiarity with ASD and/or Defensive Cyberspace Operations.
