Job Description This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role. Service Location Ashtonfield, NSW, 2323. 3>You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: This is an afternoon role only. 2:20 pm - 6:00 pm. 18.75 hours per week. ⭐The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership? As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team. Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies. Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program. Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families. Fun: Play and have FUN with primary school aged children. Remarkable: Support with ensuring your program is in compliance according to industry regulations. The Successful Candidate ✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you ✅ Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart ✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals. ✅ You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude. ✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children. ✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN ✅ Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
