Job Description This permanent, part‑time opportunity offers hands‑on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role. Service location: Ashtonfield, NSW, 2323. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday, afternoon role only: 2:20‑6:00 pm, 18.75 hours per week. As the Second in Charge, you’ll be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. You’ll engage with the school community, assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences, foster genuine relationships with children and families, and support compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies. Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on preferences of children. Foster genuine relationships with children and families. Play and have fun with primary‑school aged children. Support programme compliance and industry regulations. Qualifications Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education is ideal but not essential. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a big‑kid heart. Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals. Strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do, positive attitude. Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children.
