D&T Hydraulics is a local family owned cylinder repair & manufacturing business. The company employs over 100 highly skilled employees from Boilermakers, Welders, Fitters, Machinists and TA's. We require motivated & experienced Metal Machinists to join the team in our facility in Mackay QLD. We are highly reputable and boast a modern workshop with excellent working and pay conditions. Job tasks and responsibilities The successful applicant MUST : Extensive experience with or on manual lathes; Experience with general Mig welding a distinct advantage; Have an ability to read and interpret drawings; Able to use measuring equipment; Be highly motivated; Have a good work ethic; Be reliable, punctual and hardworking; Be able to work unsupervised and also follow directions provided by Supervisors; Have a strong attention to detail; Be able to work in a team environment; Have a minimum 3 years experience; Have drivers licence and own transport and Be committed to safety& quality policies and procedures.
