The Role We are looking for a highly motivated, customer‑focused team member to join the SAP Asia Pacific Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team as a Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisor. You will work independently, taking ownership as a subject matter expert, and manage a steep learning curve in a dynamic sales environment. Expectations and Tasks Serve as an advisor to key client stakeholders on security, privacy and compliance topics, establishing trust‑based relationships through active engagement and collaboration. Lead customer discussions, presentations and workshops on SAP’s security, privacy and compliance standards for cloud and hybrid solutions, including AI. Provide expert support for responses to customer and partner questions, questionnaires and risk assessments on security, privacy and compliance topics including AI. Identify and manage cyber security compliance risks related to sales, customer accounts and the ANZ market. Support field legal and other commercial teams on cyber security topics. Coordinate closely with internal product and corporate security and compliance teams to act as a subject matter expert, facilitating compliance and managing customer escalations. Apply and communicate comprehensive knowledge of relevant, continuously evolving security and privacy regulations and frameworks in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on public sector and regulated industry. Educate SAP customers, partners and internal teams on important security, privacy and compliance aspects of SAP Cloud, including AI, through regular interaction and creation of scalable digital assets. Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies Executive presence: must have business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C‑level executives and board members. Cloud competence: strong working knowledge of security and compliance considerations of cloud and hybrid environments. Lifelong learner: passion for self‑development to gain in‑depth understanding of the SAP security strategy, solution portfolio, regulatory requirements, industry trends and executive presence. Work Experience Good experience in cyber security or related technical and compliance domains, especially working with or in public sector and regulated industry. Broad knowledge of SAP solutions across the portfolio preferred. Knowledge of SAP Cloud security and compliance, including AI, preferred. CISSP, CCSP, CRISC or other major cyber security‑related certification preferred.
