The Opportunity We are seeking an Advanced Planner to join our growing team. This role is critical in developing and managing an Advanced Production Plan that balances customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and material availability. This position spans both advanced (strategic) planning and production (tactical) planning, ensuring long‑term capability alignment while driving short‑term execution readiness. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Sales, Procurement and Production teams , and at times directly with customers, to translate demand into actionable, well‑organised production plans. By anticipating challenges, identifying capacity constraints, and driving improvements, you will play a key role in ensuring PWR delivers industry‑leading results. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain an accurate, achievable Advanced Production Plan aligned with customer orders, forecasts, and capacity. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and customers to forecast demand and translate this into executable production plans. Evaluate production capacity, identify short and long‑term constraints, and recommend solutions. Work cross‑functionally to align priorities, identify resource conflicts, and communicate risks or changes. Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness in planning processes. Contribute insights into sales and engineering processes, ensuring commitments are realistic and achievable. What We’re Looking For Strong background in production planning, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to analyse capacity data, material requirements, and demand forecasts to optimise production. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across departments. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented approach. Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
