About the Role In this hands‑on construction‑focused role, you’ll support live projects by preparing accurate construction estimates, updating drawings, checking quantities and providing practical, buildable solutions. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, site teams, transport crews and manufacturing teams to ensure our modular buildings are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both design and estimating , thrives in a varied workload, and understands how drawings translate into real‑world construction and installation applications. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing and reviewing construction cost estimates, quantities and material lists for active projects. Updating or producing construction drawings, layouts and details to support manufacture, assembly and site installation. Providing buildability advice and practical solutions to onsite constraints. Assessing subcontractor quotes and supplier pricing to support accurate budgeting and procurement. Assisting Project Managers with cost tracking, progress claims and budget updates. Conducting quantity checks for structural components, materials, fixings, services and install equipment. Coordinating closely with construction and transport teams to ensure drawings and estimates reflect real onsite conditions. Suitable Candidates Must have experience in estimating and/or design background – Exposure to Databuild, AutoCAD, Revit preferred. Experience in building/construction, metal manufacturing or structural steel fabrication including steel detailing and roll form operations within the modular building industry is preferred. Minimum 3 – 5 years industry experience. Certificate IV Building & Construction will be highly regarded. Time management skills with the ability to multi‑task, set priorities and work to deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
