Pay: $40 – $45 per hourSchedule: 5 days per weekMonday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM(Option to add a few more hours in a day if the nanny is looking for additional hours – flexible for the right candidate) A warm and loving family in Highgate Hill, Brisbane are looking for a caring and reliable nanny to assist with afternoon daycare pickups and evening routines for their two children aged 1yr and 3yrs old. The ideal candidate will have experience with young children, enjoy engaging in play-based activities, and be comfortable with light meal prep. About the Role The nanny will be responsible for picking up the children from daycare, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable transition home, and supporting afternoon and evening routines. Flexibility with transportation options is available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Pick up the child from daycare (20-minute walk or drive; car provided if needed) Provide afternoon tea and engage in play Optionally visit a local park post-daycare Prepare dinner (simple heating of meals) Light tidying after meals and play Assist with bath time About You The family is looking for someone who is: Warm, patient, and caring Experienced with toddlers or similar-aged children Reliable and able to maintain a structured evening routine Comfortable with light meal prep and tidying Open to walking or driving for pickups (car provided if needed) Requirements Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential Working With Children Check First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Driver’s license preferred but not essential Comfortable around dogs (family has two friendly beagles, no pet care required) Additional Notes No set activities planned, but outings to nearby parks are welcome Both parents work full-time, making reliability and consistency key Family values kindness, openness, and inclusivity This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a nanny who enjoys engaging with toddlers in a loving, supportive environment.
