We are seeking an experienced Project Procurement Coordinator for a BESS Project in Mudgee, New South Wales. About the Role Provide ongoing procurement and pricing support Manage the transportation of goods / materials for delivery to and from site Accountability for ensuring project procurement activities are on/ahead of time with all clients’ expectations met as identified in the Project Plans Assist other managers in the administration of contracts as required Liaise with Design Manager to ensure timely completion of design packages to coincide with the procurement schedule Liaise with Construction Manager to ensure timely procurement in accordance with program Ensure team compliance with any relevant measures outlined in the Project Management and Regional Community Relations Plans Monitor and maintenance of appropriate inventory levels Meet or exceed KPI's/Individual Performance Targets as outlined in PDS Facilitate the design and implementation of systems, processes and procedures that deliver business changes capable of sustaining and continuously improving procurement performance Ensure Procurement Schedules are developed to reflect Programme delivery requirements Ensure Service Level expectations concerning Delivery and standard Lead-times are clearly articulated in authorised Supply Agreements Expedite vendors to ensure that critical items are delivered as scheduled on Purchase Order Support client surveys of procurement services Conduct reviews of procurement activities to ensure targets are being met Coordinate monthly reports with Project Managers and Operations Manager Consistently monitor and review latest market movements, trends and innovations to ensure best practice in procurement issues Review and reform the inventory control management of all facilities including warehousing and stock control About You Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field Proven understanding of relevant standards and legislation Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement and expediting of high voltage and medium voltage equipment, i.e., step up transformer, switchgear, SCADA Proven experience in leading procurement processes and expediting activities Experience from large-scale projects over $300m Working knowledge of the technical specifications of major electrical equipment required for BESS and Solar projects Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems) Excellent negotiation and contract management skills Knowledge of project management and cost control principles Advanced attention to detail and accuracy Team player Samsung C&T Corporation is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
