Wholesale Market Assistant – Fruit & Vegetable Stand KOOGUL INDUSTRIES AUSTRALIA PTY LTD – Epping VIC Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description We are seeking a reliable and energetic Wholesale Market Assistant to support operations at our fruit and vegetable stand at the Melbourne Markets in Epping. This role is fast‑paced, hands‑on, and suited to someone comfortable with early‑morning wholesale market work. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with wholesale fruit and vegetable sales Setting up the stand and arranging produce for trade Loading and unloading produce boxes (manual handling) Serving wholesale buyers and retailers Preparing orders and maintaining stock rotation Keeping the stand clean, organised, and compliant Assisting with basic invoicing and order entry (training provided) Requirements Experience in fruit/veg wholesale or retail (preferred but not essential) Ability to lift produce boxes Comfortable working in a busy, early‑morning environment Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Hours Early‑morning shifts at the Melbourne Market (typical 11pm–7am). 5–6 days per week depending on market demand.
