In this role, you’ll help ensure they continue to meet and exceed the standards their customers trust them for from food safety and quality to environmental care and workplace wellbeing. You’ll look after key management systems, including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), the SQF Code (Safe Quality Food), environmental standards, and a range of customer‑specific programs, helping to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. Tasks & Responsibilities Initiate, coordinate, and participate in scheduled reviews of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment programs to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Lead the periodic review and continuous improvement of management procedures, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents to maintain system integrity and relevance. Administer and coordinate compliance activities across key business support programs, Management review, business performance, and business continuity planning Supplier re‑evaluation and recall management Incident investigation, corrective and preventive actions Customer relations and feedback handling Calibration and control of measuring and test equipment Document control and record management Preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs Food safety verification and hygiene control Employee training, skills assessment, and PPE management Emergency response, first aid, and dangerous goods management Pest control and housekeeping programs across all facilities, including warehouses Internal audits and safety inspections to verify compliance with organisational standards Experience & Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline. HACCP and/or Food Safety certification highly desirable. In a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical industries. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with demonstrated ability in root cause analysis methodologies, including 5 Whys. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage efficiently at all organisational levels. Capable of working collaboratively across multiple departments such as Technical, Production, and Logistics. Developing and conducting GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) training programs.
