About the Role As a Disability Support Worker at Catalyst Support Services, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised, high-quality care to individuals with diverse support needs. You'll empower clients to build independence, achieve personal goals, and actively participate in their community. We offer a structured roster with flexible shifts to support your work‑life balance: In‑Home Support - shifts between 6am‑10pm, including Active & Sleepover shifts Community Access - 8am‑12pm and 3pm‑7pm, including alternating weekends for shared roster variety What You'll Be Doing Supporting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, manual handling, meal preparation, assisting with medication, and household tasks. Promoting community participation through social, recreational, and skill‑building activities. Implementing individualised support plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and allied health professionals. Upholding client rights, safety, and dignity, fostering an inclusive and empowering environment. Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and support outcomes. Participating in ongoing training and professional development. What We're Looking For Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, or a related field (minimum 2 years’ experience preferred) Proven ability to provide person‑centred, strengths‑based care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport. A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach to client care. Flexibility to work across a casual yet consistent roster, including weekends and public holidays A valid Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transport. Willing to travel using personal vehicle.
