KF GROUP NT' is seeking an experienced Leading hand/Handyman to join our team in Darwin, NT. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our client's properties and facilities. As a Leading hand/Handyman, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled tradespeople and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. What you’ll be doing Supervising and coordinating a team of tradespeople to complete maintenance and repair tasks Performing a variety of handyman duties, including general repairs, painting, plumbing, carpentry, minor roofing, gyrpoking, hanging doors Identifying and addressing maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress What we’re looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Leading hand/Handyman or in a similar role Strong practical skills and knowledge of a wide range of maintenance and repair techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Commitment to safety and quality standards Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation What we offer At KF GROUP NT', we value our employees and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
