YOUR ROLE As an Operations Manager in our Contract Logistics division based at our Truganina (Archer Rd) facility, you’ll play a key leadership role overseeing warehouse operations that support one or more major customer accounts. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll lead an on‑site operations team that may include multiple Operations Supervisors, Inventory Controllers, Operations Administrators and Storepersons. Together, you’ll ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality logistics and supply chain services that meet customer expectations and CEVA’s operational standards. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: Oversee daily warehouse operations to achieve safety, service, cost and productivity targets Lead, coach and develop your team, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with CEVA’s safety, quality and operational standards through regular audits and reviews Deliver accurate inventory management, reporting and analysis to support operational decision‑making Collaborate with the Site Manager and functional leads to optimise resource planning and workflow efficiency Maintain close communication with customers to ensure service levels are met and improvement opportunities identified Champion CEVA’s safety leadership principles and create an environment where everyone goes home safe. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You’re a confident and hands‑on logistics professional with proven experience leading warehouse teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast‑paced 3PL environment. Experience managing 3PL contracts and leading teams across warehouse operations Comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and systems Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate others Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a customer‑first mindset Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to interpret operational and financial metrics. In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
