McLean Care is offering a rewarding opportunity to be part of our Home and Community Services team, where you'll provide essential housekeeping and cleaning services to clients in their own homes. The Role As a Home Care Employee with McLean Care, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a wide range ofdomestic and cleaning services , ensuring the comfort and well-being of elderly clients. This role plays a vital part in enabling clients to maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort within the familiar surroundings of their own homes. Your duties will include: Cleaning and Housekeeping : Performing essential tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and ensuring all living areas are tidy and sanitized. Laundry & Meal Preparation : Washing, ironing, folding clothes, and assisting with meal prep to help clients maintain a clean and organized lifestyle. Grocery Shopping & Other Household Tasks : Assisting with shopping and other day-to-day chores to ensure clients can manage their home life with ease. This position isflexible – you can choose either acasual orpart-time role,giving you the ability to balance work with family, study, or other commitments. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality cleaning services, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and organizing clients’ homes. Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and other essential household tasks. Foster a respectful, supportive environment, helping clients maintain their independence while respecting their privacy and wishes. Communicate any changes in client conditions to the Service Delivery Manager. Ensure all tasks are carried out according to the care plan, delivering the highest standard of service. Skills and Qualifications Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, empathetic approach toward clients. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting. A reliable and insured vehicle with a current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License. Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within three months. Experience in a homecare or cleaning role is desirable but not essential. What’s in it for You?
