About the role and core responsibilities We are looking for a highly driven, organised and talented leasing agent to complement our team. You will be responsible for the leasing of a residential property portfolio surrounded by a great network of roles including administration, property management, accounts and team leader support. This role will see you utilise your communication, organisational and relationship management skills daily. Your specific duties will include but not be limited to: Handling and responding to phone and email rental enquiries. Attending property inspections. Managing inspection software. Attending property photoshoots and writing advertising text. Preparing and coordinating seamless property marketing campaigns in line with brand guidelines. Liaising with landlords and tenants to arrange and conduct inspections. Ingoing and routine inspection reports. Preparing lease agreements and associated documentation. Following up with prospective tenants and providing feedback to landlords after inspections. Processing application forms and conducting reference checks. Negotiating lease terms and conducting lease signing appointments. Providing feedback on leasing status, market feedback and recommendations to landlords. Calendar management and ad hoc tasks. Carrying out rental market appraisals and prospecting for new business. Arranging repairs and maintenance. Arranging lease renewals and rent reviews. Arrears control and termination notices. You will have support from all levels of the company and the wealth of knowledge we have to draw upon. Skills and experience Passionate about real estate with leasing & property management experience. Positive and friendly attitude with interest in forming long‑lasting client relationships. Team player with a 'can do' approach who can work well in a team and autonomously. Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills and well presented. Highly organised – ability to prioritise incoming work while working to deadlines. Quick learner who has a strong customer‑service focus. A solutions‑oriented mindset and a willingness to take initiative. Proficiency in both traditional and digital marketing with an open mind to new technologies. Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite. Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Current certificate of registration or real estate licence. Knowledge of the residential tenancy act. Commercial experience welcomed (not essential).
