With six main campuses (Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora, Craigieburn, Mernda Community Hospital and Kilmore District Hospital) and additional mental health sites, Northern Health focuses on delivering high‑quality, community‑oriented care. About the Role The Senior Registrar/Fellow in Anaesthesia will provide timely assessment and management of patients requiring anaesthesia for surgery or other procedures, as well as medical input into their perioperative journey. The role supports a broad range of specialties across the Northern Hospital (Epping) and Broadmeadows Hospital sites, including obstetrics, paediatrics, orthopaedics, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, ENT and plastic surgery, as well as Emergency Department, Intensive Care and off‑the‑floor services. Responsibilities Provide timely assessment and management of patients requiring anaesthesia for surgery or other procedures. Provide medical input into perioperative journey of patients. Participate in required resuscitation and pain management. Provide supervisory role for junior medical staff. Engage in education, quality improvement and research activities of the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine. Qualifications Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under AHPRA. At least 3 years of accredited training. Holder of a relevant employment visa if not an Australian resident.
