Due to an exciting internal movement we are now on the hunt for a passionate and driven Quality Assurance Manager- Packaging (Internal Job Title is Packaging Quality Leader) to join our Packaging team at Tooheys Brewery in Lidcombe on a Permanent full-time basis. And at Tooheys quality is at the heart of everything we do. From the first crack of a cold one to the last sip your role will make sure our beers live up to the legendary Tooheys name. As the Packaging Quality Leader youll lead a team of 8 dedicated professionals driving quality across our packaging department while working closely with stakeholders across the brewery and beyond. Heres how youll make an impact : Leading the packaging quality team to maintain and enhance quality standards. Analysing customer complaints trends to drive continuous improvement activity. Maintain and manage our quality systems compliance. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive quality improvements within the end-to-end manufacturing of the packaging department. Overseeing safety and quality compliance ensuring all work aligns with Lions procedures and policies. Improve delivery and cost metrics like DIFOT waste reduction and product quality outcomes. Drive a strong quality and safety culture through coaching mentoring and celebrating Right First Time (RFT) wins. What you will bring : A degree in Engineering Science or Food Technology. Communication and influencing skills that help you engage stakeholders at all levels including those without technical backgrounds. Proven leadership experience in a technical or production role. Experience in HACCP FSCC GMP and quality systems. Strong understanding of Lean and Manufacturing Excellence. A track record of delivering results in quality performance and cost improvements.
