Base pay range A$98,336.00/yr - A$110,937.00/yr Team Overview The Triage Team is responsible for conducting risk assessments of all sponsor reports received into the TGA by Medical device Incident Reporting and Investigation Scheme (IRIS). The team consists of one EL 1, one APS 6 Educator, 3 APS 6 Investigators and one APS 4 (administration officer) across Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide. Key Responsibilities The APS 6 Investigators are critical members of the Triage and Investigation Team within DPMMS. They are responsible for conducting risk assessments of sponsor reports received through IRIS. The Triage team are charged with conducting risk assessment of incoming data and signals related to medical device safety and performance issues. Activities Undertaken Triage (risk assess) of more than 15,300 Device Incident Reports (DIRs) per year; Conducting a review of initial reports to identify any high risk or critical reports, or sudden increases in trend and batch on a weekly basis; Requesting sponsors for additional information for over 300 Device investigation reports to reduce burden on investigation team.
