Marano's Fuel are seeking applications for an experienced, trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on fuel trucks and trailers. Fault find and repair mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and hydraulics. Conduct annual roadworthy inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Complete service records and job cards. Respond to breakdowns and carry out roadside repairs when required. Requirements : Trade qualification as a Heavy Commercial Mechanic. Proven experience with heavy vehicle servicing and repairs. Sound knowledge of OH&S standards and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Current driver's licence (HR licence highly desirable). Auto electrical experience or knowledge, including fault finding and minor wiring repairs will be highly regarded.
