Overview Initial 6-month contract + possible extensions Mix of WFH and office in Central Sydney About the role We are seeking a Solution Architect to join a fast-moving AI and Innovation team within a large, complex enterprise environment. This role will support the evolution of an emerging AI Foundry, uplift solution operating models, and contribute to IT governance redesign initiatives, while also enabling rapid solution delivery across modern platforms. Hands-on AI experience is beneficial but not essential. A strong understanding of how AI solutions are designed, governed, integrated, and scaled within an enterprise environment is essential, along with a willingness to learn and evolve as the space matures. Key responsibilities Design and document solution architectures supporting AI-enabled initiatives, innovation platforms, and enterprise systems Contribute to the development and uplift of an AI Foundry, including patterns, guardrails, and reusable components Support operating model design, helping define how solutions move from ideation through delivery and into steady-state Contribute to IT governance redesign, ensuring architectural decisions align with enterprise standards while enabling speed and innovation Partner closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with reference architectures and technology standards Design solutions across Azure cloud, integration, and Power Platform, including Power Apps where appropriate Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, achievable solution designs Produce clear architectural artefacts and documentation using tools such as Confluence and SharePoint Skills and experience Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms and integration patterns A solid understanding of AI concepts, architectures, and governance in an enterprise context Experience contributing to operating models, architecture standards, or governance frameworks Exposure to Power Platform, including Power Apps, as part of broader solution design Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, listen, and influence across diverse stakeholder groups A collaborative mindset and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving team Interested candidates who meet the required skillset of the role are encouraged to apply via the link with an updated resume.
