Senior Officer Level 1 - $143,957.77 per annum (excl. super) Job Satisfaction – Have a meaningful impact on the community by contributing to achieve positive outcomes across the Mornington Peninsula Shire About the Role The Team Leader – Asset Protection & Construction Supervision ensures infrastructure works on the Mornington Peninsula are delivered in accordance with the relevant requirements and in consideration of community impact/amenity. Reporting to the Manager – Projects & Engineering Services, the core responsibilities include providing strategic oversight and ensuring the performance of a multifaceted team to: Provide a high quality, considered and responsive asset protection service, Closely monitor the delivery of Council’s Capital Works Program to ensure works are fit for purpose and meet relevant requirements, and Provide oversight of service authority works as well as private developments/subdivisions. About You The ideal candidate will have: Experience in civil construction and/or a civil engineering degree Experience in delivering a statutory function and/or working within a regulatory environment A proven ability to objectively assess a situation and make informed decisions in consideration of various aspects.
