This involves planning and placing orders for all manufactured goods, together with ordering all the packaging components required for production. The role ensures goods are produced and available on time for distribution in a profitable manner.Key Responsibilities:Analyse sales data and promotions to accurately forecast future demand for products.Develop and maintain supply plans that align demand forecasts and production requirements.Place orders with 3rd party manufacturers based on required lead times and stock holding policies.Analyse inventory of components (vessels, labels, boxes) at the warehouse and vendor location, and place orders to fulfil production requirements.Movement of components to manufacturing sites based on requirements.Monthly reconciliation of components at 3rd Party manufacturing locations to ensure accurate inventory values.Communicate with 3rd Party manufacturers and suppliers to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers for managing changes to artwork and new artwork requirements for vessels, boxes, and labels.Address issues as they arise to mitigate supply risk and minimise disruption.Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices with accounts payable to ensure vendors are paid on time and purchase orders are updated correctly with correct pricing before stock is receipted.Work with the warehouse to ensure all Purchase Orders are processed in a timely manner.Maintain relevant documentation for systems and processes.Develop, prepare, and deliver analyses & KPIs to management as necessary.Ad hoc duties as necessary, directed by management.Reasons why Advanced Skin Technology is the right workplace for you:Quarterly product allowance at wholesale price to be utilised across our brand portfolio.Access to an inclusive Parental Leave program and additional leave entitlements such as 'Rest, Energise and Connect' Days, Purchased Leave & Birthday Leave.A quiet room at Head Office supporting the following needs: Mental Health, First Aid, Prayer/Religion, and Parenting/Nursing.An internal AST Values in Action award and recognition program where you can nominate your colleagues for demonstrating our core values.A hybrid working model that promotes a work-life balance.Free onsite parking when you come to the office.The Successful Applicant:Are you an imaginative, focused, team player that relishes the opportunity to help deliver outstanding service, ideas, and results?Skills:Customer Service: Proactively promote positive customer relationships by providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.Work effectively and cooperatively with other staff members and management.Managing Time & Work: Effectively control your work by planning time on priority goals, requirements, and areas of opportunity.Attention to Detail and Quality: Accomplishing tasks through concern for quality and accuracy in all aspects of the work.Initiative: Making active attempts to influence events to achieve goals; self-starting rather than accepting passively; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive.Generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 3 years' experience in Purchasing/Demand Planning.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exposure to SAP.Exposure to forecasting models.About Us:For more information on Advanced Skin Technology, please visit our website AST, we are dedicated to raising the bar in the skincare industry by providing innovative skincare solutions, maintaining ethical practices, and demonstrating unwavering integrity.
