Responsibilities Implement, configure and support applications during the hours required by the business ensuring application availability, performance, reliability, maintainability, serviceability, and capacity are provided in line with agreed service level agreements. Provide application support resolving all incidents and requests in line with SLAs and undertaking problem management working closely with Service Management. Ensure all applications adhere to security policies and appropriate escalation processes are in place for all applications. Write and review application code in Java during the development life cycle and deploy it into AWS/GCP. Document all applications and integration components for support purposes by required standards, methods, and procedures and adhere to any applicable configuration management procedures. Identify key issues and risk elements and escalates promptly. Support the planning and deliver patches, maintenance releases, and all major product enhancement releases to applications and integration components. Work with internal and external supplier relationships to ensure new fixes and maintenance releases are delivered in a timely fashion. Qualifications Intermediate/advanced knowledge of AWS/GCP is mandatory. Hands on experience with CI/CD into AWS/GCP platform. Having Microsoft .Net experience is an added advantage. About You You bring significant experience and in-depth knowledge of development methodologies, documentation standards, and the tools required to create, test, and implement applications, as well as manage control points for day-to-day support. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, enable you to clearly articulate ideas and concepts to colleagues and stakeholders. You drive technology collaboration, ensuring team decisions are aligned with the technical roadmap, and you have a proven track record of working effectively within an ITIL environment. Comfortable working as part of a team and engaging with senior business stakeholders, you provide subject matter expertise for our platform, tools, and ways of working, helping to shape best practice and deliver value across the organisation.
