Join us in building a supportive and inclusive team Description This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to be a leader in your community As a Resident Assistant you’ll play a key role in making the Village a safe, friendly and fun place to live. This casual role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference. Key Responsibilities Peer support and guidance. Check in on your fellow residents and offer advice. Organise and get involved in events that make village life memorable. Support Village activities and administration. Assist with keeping the Village safe and contribute to an inclusive living environment. The responsibilities of this role may evolve based on the changing needs of our residents and the business. We seek candidates who are adaptable and open to taking on new challenges as they arise. Skills and Experiences Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Excellent communication skills that enable you to mix with a diverse group of people promoting positive relationships. Have a creativity and innovation flare. Experience in event planning and leadership roles (desired). Must be currently enrolled at the associated university (essential). Must be a resident of the village (essential). First Aid certificate or willingness to participate in training. Current National Police Clearance Check. Working With Children Check. Availability Must be available late October 2025 for training sessions. Must be available to work February welcome week. Availability during summer vacation November 2025 - February 2026 (desired).
