Join Us In Saving Queensland's Koalas Are you passionate about making a genuine impact on the conservation of one of the world's most iconic species? As a 004 Wildlife Ranger working in the Koala Operations Unit, you will contribute to a range of projects that directly support koala conservation. Why This Role Is Exciting Impactful Work : You'll support the delivery of key koala habitat creation, protection, and management programs. Skill Development : The role offers opportunities to develop team leadership and management skills as you support the Ranger in Charge of the unit. Networking Opportunities : You'll meet and work with people and organisations from across the environmental sector, from researchers to vets through to First Nations, local government staff and major non-government organisations. Your Role: As a 004 Wildlife Ranger, you'll: Lead : Support the Ranger in Charge in the planning and delivery of daily activities in support of a range of koala programs. Innovate : In collaboration with the unit and wider team contribute to identifying and implementing innovative approaches to work. Communicate : Support effective communication both between as well as across multiple units to ensure wider team goals are achieved. Promote : Contribute to creating and supporting a workplace culture that delivers equality, diversity and inclusion that will enrich our workplace culture.
