Visit to learn more about us Key Responsibilities Reporting to the National Roasting Manager, you will oversee daily operations to ensure the efficient production of high‑quality specialty coffee. Your responsibilities will include supervising workflows, maintaining coffee quality standards, and ensuring all roast profiles meet designated sensory benchmarks. As the Roastery Supervisor, you will also be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of roasting staff, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of roasting equipment to meet food quality, safety, and operational standards. Additionally, you will lead and motivate the roasting team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment. Qualifications At least two years of experience in specialty coffee roasting. A positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual work and early starts. (being a morning person is a bonus). Reliability, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency with computers is required, with knowledge of Cropster and Microsoft Suite being advantageous. Prior experience using Giesen coffee roasters is highly desirable.
