In this role, you'll lead the delivery of holistic health, safety and environment strategies to ensure a healthy and compliant workplace. You'll collaborate with operational teams to deliver training, improve systems, and strengthen our safety‑first culture. Responsibilities Delivering adaptive safety programs and engagement initiatives to reduce operational risk Maintaining and improving HSE systems in line with ISO and Australian standards Planning and executing HSE strategy and tactical plans across the contract Supporting incident management, investigations and compliance reportingLeading contractor and employee HSE assurance activities including audits and observations Providing coaching and expert advice to operational leaders and teams Qualifications A Diploma in WHS (Work Health and Safety) Safety leadership experience in high‑risk construction or similar environments (5+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of ISO standards ******, *****, ****) and safety legislation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including coaching and influencing Strong planning, time management and initiative in a high‑volume environment Relevant certifications including Construction White Card, Root Cause Investigation and Audit Training We celebrate diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds and cultures including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQI+, veterans and people with disability.
