The Opportunity This is an exciting role for a motivated individual who is partway through, or has completed, an accounting‑related degree and is currently undertaking or about to commence CA/CPA studies. We offer exam and study support to help you progress in your career. You will be joining a small, experienced team where you’ll have genuine responsibility and the opportunity to manage your own client base. It is essential that you have: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Australian accounting office A strong desire to grow in a business services and tax role Key Responsibilities Supporting the preparation of external and statutory reporting, including half‑year and annual reports Managing month‑end financial accounting and reporting, including consolidation entries and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual tax returns, including GST, PAYG, income tax, FBT and withholding tax Contributing to project work related to tax and accounting reporting changes Preparing reports and analysis to support client reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes We’d Love You to Have The ability to multitask and handle a wide variety of tasks in a busy environment A strong “can‑do” attitude and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail Experience with Xero and MYOB (or similar cloud‑based accounting systems) An undergraduate qualification or degree in Accounting or Commerce (completed or near completion) Currently studying towards, or intending to commence, CA or CPA What We Offer Exam and study support for CA/CPA Hands‑on experience across a broad range of clients and entity types Opportunity to manage your own client base in a supportive environment A friendly, collaborative team based in North Sydney with easy public transport access How to Apply If this sounds like the right next step in your accounting career, we’d love to hear from you.
