We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Shop Assistant to join the team at Intersport Lismore. This is a casual position located in Lismore, NSW 2480, offering 20+ hours per week with a view to 30+ in the future including Saturdays. What you’ll be doing Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to all customers Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed Accurately processing sales transactions and handling cash/payments Assisting with inventory management and stock counts Communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth store operations What we’re looking for Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the sporting goods or fashion industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high store standards Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays Basic awareness of general sports knowledge to assist customers with sporting goods enquiries Point of sale (POS) software experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided What we offer Generous staff discounts on our high-quality sporting goods and apparel A collaborative and inclusive team culture About us Intersport Lismore is a leading retailer of sporting goods, equipment and apparel, serving the local community for over 25 years.
