About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in business administration with a hands‑on traineeship. As a Junior Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, helping to keep projects and service work on track. We’re looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and eager to learn. You’ll gain practical experience across a wide range of administrative tasks while completing a Certificate III in Business Administration as part of your traineeship. In this role, you will: Work closely with our team to manage office workflows and customer communications. Learn to use job management and business systems. Assist with scheduling, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of information and services. Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and web enquiries. Support general office duties and ensure efficient office operations. Hours: Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, based at our Beresfield office. Key Responsibilities Learn and use business systems and job management software. Manage multiple email inboxes and respond promptly to enquiries. Perform accurate data entry and maintain up‑to‑date records. Answer and direct telephone calls professionally. Assist with scheduling jobs and coordinating service work. Liaise with suppliers and contractors, prepare work orders, and help with scheduling. Monitor office supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained. Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed. Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to accurately record and manage information electronically. High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office experience preferred). Professional and pleasant phone manner. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transport to and from the Beresfield office.
