Workshop Supervisor

McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor to join our team. There are multiple opportunities available working in Queensland. Start in 2026 Two weeks on; 1 week off In this role you will successfully coordinate workshop operational requirements and be responsible for the direct supervision of workshop and subcontractor workers to ensure all safety, environmental and quality specification requirements are achieved. To be successful you will have: Qualification in Engineering - Mechanical / Diesel Fitting / Mobile Plant or equivalent Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence Construction Industry Induction (white card/ blue card) Experience in planning and coordinating resources Experience in managing people and work outcomes High level knowledge and experience in mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment used in a civil construction industry Experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo will be advantageous Knowledge or and/or experience in the civil construction industry Experience in managing teams and supervising the work of others About you: Critical analysis and problem‑solving skills Self‑motivated in the completion of tasks Perform with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to manage time effectively, using strong organisational skills Desire to work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals Lead by example, acting ethically and with integrity Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders Actively comply with policies, procedures, and processes Join the McCosker team At McCosker we are focused on developing our workforce, giving back to the community and safeguarding our natural environment.
