Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a busy regional workshop based in Gnangara . This hands‑on leadership role will oversee day‑to‑day workshop operations, maintenance planning, and a small team of fitters/technicians. You will ensure safe, efficient workshop workflows, manage workloads and parts/inventory, and support site breakdown response as required. Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor workshop staff, allocate daily work and monitor performance Coordinate scheduled maintenance, servicing and plant rebuilds to meet production targets Manage breakdown response and prioritise repairs to minimise plant downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records, service sheets and parts requisitions Oversee parts/warehouse interactions and inventory control to ensure availability of critical spares Enforce site HSE procedures, conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices are followed Liaise with site supervisors and planners to schedule planned works and emergency tasks Drive continuous improvement in workshop processes, workmanship and turnaround times Essential Qualifications & Experience Trade qualification or formal apprenticeship as a Diesel/Heavy Fitter (or equivalent experience) Proven supervisory experience in a heavy plant workshop or similar industrial setting Strong mechanical diagnostics across diesel engines, powertrains and hydraulics Experience with workshop systems, maintenance scheduling and parts management Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a small team in a regional workshop environment Stable, ongoing regional work with an experienced leadership team Supportive environment focused on safety and workforce development Clear systems for maintenance planning and opportunities for career progression How to Apply If you’re a hands‑on Workshop Supervisor ready to lead a regional workshop in the Perth area, email your resume and a short cover note outlining your current location and availability to ********@wwforce.com.au .
